I’m finally taking the time to update the photo galleries on my site. It’s slow going – not for technical reasons, but because it’s a bit difficult for me to sift thru some of the photos I’ve got. I’d also like to remove most of the photos I have currently uploaded to Facebook as I’d like retain the copyrights to the photos I’ve taken and as it stands now, anything posted on FB can be used by FB in any manner they see fit. At least if they’re on my own website, I can watermark ‘em (not that most of them have any value except sentimental – it’s the idea that counts).
Tonight I tweaked my Quilts area and added a new album for my Stained Glass Flower wall hangings. And, added Magick’s album to the Rainbow Bridge page. That was the difficult part. It makes me miss her all the more – and reminds me of the last week we had with her and how devastating it was. The folks at the U of Penn vet hospital were incredibly kind during that week and our families helped us as we struggled with the grief. It was such a big reminder to keep a credit card on hand for true emergencies. We would have paid anything if it would have given us more years with her. She was only 4. A week after she crossed to the Bridge, she sent us Isadora (which means “The Gift”). Izzy stole our hearts from the moment we held her. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Izzy’s puppy photos resemble Magick’s – to the point we have to stop and think which puppy it is!
